[Latest update]

March 21, 1996: After I was hospitalized for two weeks in February and one week in March for mysterious blood clots, a biopsy of lymph nodes in my chest revealed a 'poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma', which basically means a tumor that originated somewhere else, but they're not sure where. I have started chemotherapy, and so far (3.5 days in) I feel fine and have no adverse side effects; I will not know how well the therapy is working until 4-6 weeks from now.

If things continue to go well, I'll keep playing with the band, and resume work part-time in April.

Feel free to write (snail or email), visit, or call (although as the chemo goes on I may begin to feel worse and be less receptive to visits and calls. Check this space.).
